'Thirteenth' Birthday post

So this is how it goes.
I've known him for exactly half (sic) of my life now!
And so, I've checked more boxes with him than I've left unchecked. And yes, that makes me happy, and also glad. *sweet*
All I'm saying is that we have come long way:

from those horribly embarrassing 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' sing alongs,
from those secrets,
from our 'blue-moon'(sic) walk,
from our legendary umbrella photo-shoot,
from our many random walks along the sea,
from those midnight smokes by the dilapidated swings,
my compulsive CCD dates simply because i wouldn't just have it in any other way,
compulsorily making the other the part of the gossips,
the never-realising-plans of a trip to anywhere,
the movies with buffaloes (yes, you read that correct!) as the central character,
from hanging out at our all time favourite joint (since (again) exactly half of our lives) to the most outrageously overpriced bar,
from my first Starbucks date,
from our "Mondegar" tees,
from those rain walks, going-splosh-over-puddles walks, walking-back-home-from-school-as-the-bus-broke-down walks, no-reason walks,
insane conversations and mad laughs,
not to forget (and mention) my hopelessly embarrassing video,

to our deal about the "Drunk Bride" *yes, you read that right again!*

this goes out, to that one constant in my life!
Have a Great Birthday and i promise, we'll party real hard when we meet.

p.s. you know the best part of all the above?
       it holds true, the other way round too!
