Remember that Bharat Matrimony ad wherein the dad runs after every guy he lays his eyes on with that red turban, much to the daughter's embarrassment?
Yeah well, the ad does get the embarrassment part right.. Bull's eye with the daughter part too!
So, yes.. It's the wedding season.. Again! And it seems, the place I live in, never runs short of wedding season! Too much wedding happening around me! All year long.. On the plus side of it, I get to be pretty and tall and eat good food and be the sexy chauffeur. On the not so plus side, 7 out of 10 times, I miss out on doing the above mentioned things.. Bad misses for me..
So anyway, that track has been put on the correct mode.. Been attending them regularly.. Dressing up, being tall, sitting pretty and being the sexy chauffeur anyone has ever seen.
Just the one flip side, though.
By now, with so many close ones getting married or starting on that path, my mother also seems to be of the opinion that she needs to get busy too!
So, I'm kinda being the fair one here.
A shout out to them who fall in that bracket of my mother's "zone of interest".. Stay out!
Take cover.. Duck! Run for your lives!
And till then, ah well, I'm gonna bask in all the royal treatment that comes my way! Got a wedding to plan, after all! *chuckle*
