that kind of a day!

what do you do when it's that kind of a day?
that kind of a day which doesnt come everyday, so it's "that kind of a day".

  • you get up early and beat everyone to shower.. that kind of a day.
  • you leave late for work and yet be among those first ones to reach.. that kind of a day.
  • you still don't get your favourite parking spot, inspite of being among the early ones.. yeah, that kind of a day.
  • pressing matters at hand regarding tomorrow's agenda, and yet enough distractions to not let you do your work.. that kind of a day.
  • and still managing somehow not to get in the bad books of the boss lady and the boss lady's boss, when they're constantly hovering around you during your mostest distracted self.. that kind of a day.
  • and when, inspite of a packed VC room, all through the day (at least, the better part of the day, that is) when the team disappoints, you still don't want to let go of all the excitement that you'd initally built on around the day.. that kind of the day, it is!

so, that last few hours, over the fag end of the 'official' day, when you decide today's not going to be that kind of a day when you end on a disappointed note, you get hold of the youngest member of your "family" and play volley!
oh boy! what fun!

and the players are all those rest of the "family" members! fortunately the top three of the hierarchy (read : the boss lady, the boss lady's boss, and RAT) are not there! (phew!)

and so, as i'd said previously too, the questions continued.. *hah!*
and then yours truly gets the gift too!

p.s. and a very favourite one of yours truly from among the rest of the family members, paired the stalker with yours truly, to double the fun! heheeheehehehehe! all i can say is, it's no fun being the second youngest!

and a chocolate treat to end the day with.. he is my favourite one of the lot for a reason, you see!
